Who is Eligible
YOU MUST BE A SINGLE PARENT of at least one child, through separation (30+ days), divorce, death, or never married. Non-custodial and single parents of grown children are also eligible and welcomed.

How to Join PWP
YOU MUST ATTEND AN ORIENTATION to initiate the process. These are held a few times a month at different locations.  The main ones are at:
- Crossroads Mix and Mingle family dining events (first Friday of each month @6:30pm),  or the
- Monthly dance at Vasa Park (2nd Sat of each month, orientation @6pm).  Other orientation opportunities may also be available.

 You will learn about different aspects of PWP, and can choose to complete an application and pay the $48 annual dues (renewals are $44). Bring the name and address of a professional non-related reference who knows you're a single parent. If you join you will receive a provisional member receipt, followed by your permanent membership card in approximately 60 days.

Orientations are Restricted to:
• Prospective new members
• Members bringing a prospective member
• Membership Director and assigned Amigos
• Board members or designated committee persons

Directions to Crossroads Mix & Mingle orientation (1st Fri @6:30pm):
From I-405 take the NE 8th Street exit heading East.  Drive East until you reach 156th Avenue NE.  Crossroads Mall will be on your left. Join us at the food court tables halfway between the music stage and QFC in front of the branch library.  Look for smiling faces, PWP badges, or table fliers.

Directions to Vasa Park hall orientation (2nd Sat @6pm):
From I-405 or I-5 take I-90 east to Exit 13 (SE Newport Way). Stay in the left lane, which circles around back under the freeway. Immediately get in the left lane to enter the traffic circle, then exit the circle at the second right, which continues on West Lake Sammamish Parkway. Continue one mile. The ballroom is on the left at SE 38th Street. It's a big red building with a blue aluminum roof.  Its OK to bring kids the orientation, but the following dance lesson and dance are adult events.
